Kristen is a wife and mom of three inspiring children (ages 8, 10, and 16), who continue to drive her love for photography and keep her camera in-hand on a daily basis. As a mom, she knows why photography matters: moments captured are moments preserved. A love for creating memorable images underlies her passion for photographing every precious newborn, crazy toddler, happy-go-lucky child, accomplished senior, and proud parent. As a military spouse, documenting the tear-jerking emotions of homecomings is close to her heart as she has been through her own. She is a professional photographer specializing in natural light, and prefers to interact with families right before sunset when the light is at its best. Capturing the true spirit of your children, genuine smiles, and connection in your family is something she strives for by keeping it relaxed and fun so everyone can enjoy the session.

Kristen photographs with her husband, Richard, when possible. Together, they have worked photographing sporting and community events for the City of Anacortes in WA . Richard specializes in photographing families, weddings, nature, and aviation. He is also available for photo restoration to bring those aging, tattered heirlooms back to life.
